The traditional nativity scene shows a reconstruction of the nativity of Jesus Christ during the Christmas period: with all the characters and places of tradition; the cave to the stars, the Magi kings to the shepherds, the ox and the donkey to the lambs, and so on .The tradition, mostly Italian dating back to St. Francis of Assisi, who in 1223 created in a small village in the province of Rieti (Greccio) the first living representation of the Nativity.

The Christmas tree is a fir tree (or other evergreen conifer) decorated with small colored objects, lights, garlands, sweets, small wrapped gifts, and more. The tree can remain inside the home or kept outside, and it is prepared several days or weeks before Christmas (usually on the day of the Immaculate Conception), and removed after the holidays. The snowman, a popular winter fun for children, is an anthropomorphic figure (who looks human) built with the snow. In Western culture the image of the snowman is often associated with Christmas.
A snowman can be constructed by rolling a large ball of snow for the "body ". A second (or third) smaller ball is placed over the previous one, to form what will be the head of the snowman. The characteristics of the face, like eyes, lips and nose, are usually made using recovered material. The additional decorations may be, of course, of any kind, such as arms, broom, hat, buttons or whatever.
